Appearance
Lithe she cat with large round green eyes, and a black nose leading upward toward her ears, orange surrounding her eyes. Her whiskers are long and pure white, matching the white markings on her body. She has a long tail, and body with long legs. Her paw pads are a soft pink, all four paws are white, her back left paw has black markings underneath. Her underbelly is a mix between orange and white. Her fur is rough to the touch, and although the hairs are short it's thick enough to keep her warm during leaf-bare.

Personality
Evernight is not lazy in the least little bit, that can be blamed soley on her mentor and the drive she has had to prove her parents wrong. She was always told she was a waste of space, she is still to this day determined to prove to her parents that she is just as good as her sister. Due to the way she was treated she does have a slight temper if anything relating to her parents or siblings is brought up, or if she is having a bad day and remembering something from her past. There is, however, one cat that can cheer her up , her best friend.

The she-cat tends to overdo it sometimes, causing her body to shutdown. She was forced to push past all limits as an apprentice, so she doesn't really know her limits anymore. Evernight has to often be reminded to take a break and actually sleep. She has been known to also forgetting to eat. It isn't like she plans to not eat, she just forgets and is too busy either patrolling herself or assigning patrols. This is another reminded that her best friend has to constantly scold her about.

She is very helpful and is always willing to lend a paw, no matter how small the task. It doesn't matter if the task is something an apprentice would normally do, as long as it helps the clan, Evernight will do it. She is also a very stubborn she-cat, which is another good reason to not upset her.

Biography/History

The Beginning
Evernight was born into SageClan to two warriors, who always seemed to quarrel. Everything Yarrowleaf and Snowcrow ever said to each other ended in an argument. So when Yarrowleaf told her mate she wanted kits, Snowcrow was completely against the idea. By the time Crowsnow was ready to have kits, Yarrowleaf said she didn't want any. But somehow the queen ended up pregnant, though it was later in their lives.

Kithood
Yarrowleaf gave birth to two she-kits, Heatherkit and Everkit. Neither she-kit looked like the other, and both quickly learned their parents should have never been mates. Their parents were always arguing and the two kits would get caught into the middle of the arguments the majority of the time. Both she-kits learned they needed to be independent and learn how to do things on their own. Obviously their parents wouldn't teach them, or really pay much attention to them. So the two spent their kithood just trying to please both of their parents. It seemed Heatherkit was better suited to sucking up to their parents and getting their approval. It seemed nothing Everkit did was right. Everkit would play with the other kits in the nursery, trying to befriend someone else, while Heatherkit was getting their parents approval.

Apprenticeship
Time passed by and both Everkit and Heatherkit were made into apprentices. Heatherpaw was given a mentor that was perfect, one who was best friends with their parents and treated her like her parents did, like she was the most perfect cat in the world. Once again, Fate had given Everpaw the worst mentor possible. Everpaw had been given to Howlingfang, one of the toughest and fiercest cats in the Clan. Everpaw had no room to be timid, not after she was given this mentor. Just when she thought she was getting a break from the nursery and her parents disapproval, the worst cat possible became her mentor.

Not everything in her life was completely awful, there was one good part that happened shortly after she was apprenticed. Everpaw became best friends with another apprentice, close to the same age as herself, in almost no time. It was as if the two cats were born to be best friends. Brindlepaw was there for her when no one else was. Her sister was off being perfect, but it seemed her friend didn't care she wasn't perfect. And their friendship continued on, even in tough times.

Several moons into her training Everpaw was out with her mentor, at another one of his gruesome training sessions. This was the first time the tom would be training her by himself, usually another warrior/apprentice pair was with them, but not on this fine day. The day had started perfectly, her mother coming up to her and telling her that she would never be the kit she wanted. Following her mother's statement she received a visit from her father, saying she was such a disappointment, she wasn't worth being his kit. And to make the day better her sister had been watching the entire time, trying to hold back laughter. The look in her parent's eyes were so cold and full of hatred. She had done nothing wrong, and only did what she was told. How could they be mad at her for doing absolutely nothing? When Howlingfang announced they were to go training alone, Everpaw just followed him robotically. She was already exhausted mentally from her morning. The training session was going well, and Everpaw was learning a lot...that is until Howlingfang when too far. His massive claws became unsheathed and instead of demonstrating on another object, he used Everpaw. Blood gushed from the wounds he opened, and she cried out in pain. She thought she was going to die right then and there. Howlingfang carried her into camp, and said she was attacked by some beast. The last voice she heard before she slipped out of consciousness was her best friends voice full of worry

She woke up about four sunrises later, Brindlepaw] right beside her. She never knew what it was like to have someone actually want to be near her. Everything seemed intact, her memory was fine, but the wounds she received would take quite a long time to heal. Her parents never visited her, saying she was foolish for letting anything attack her. Brindlepaw was the only cat she told the truth to, that Howlingfang attacked her. It wasn't like anyone would believe her anyway. It took almost half a moon for her to recover, and was told she could return to training, but it had to be light. But light to Howlingfang was not what the medicine cat had in mind. Everpaw was pushed to her limits once again, and ended up in the medicine cat's den once again out of exhaustion. Though she was always exhausted she ended up staying on task and was made a warrior at the same time her sister was, and given the name Evernigh.

Warriorhood
Her friendship with her best friend, Brindlepath continued and just after their warrior ceremony they became more than just friends. The two were always together, unless on patrols. And so life continued, and she found happiness with Brindlepath, well as happy as a cat with a horrible past can have. Just after her warrior ceremony at 12 moons, she was given an apprentice at 14 moons to see exactly how she would treat another cat despite her rocky past. She proved to be nothing like her mentor. Yes, she was tough but also had her best friend help her and understand what emotions were appropriate.

Deputy
She was made deputy not too long ago, because of her ability to balance an apprentice at only fourteen moons, and her undying loyalty proven many times to her clan. Evernight doesn’t understand that, but she serves her leader with the utmost respect.
