Roleplay Related Rules

A couple things to remember-

- DON'T overpower your cat. Making them seem op makes the game boring and unfair for other players.
- Listen to the Keeper(s). They run the roleplay, so please respect them!
- Also remember that this is a mostly-free roleplay. You do not have to wait for a Keeper's response to roleplay, Keepers will only step in with stat checks and NPC events when deemed necessary.
- Sexual themes are NOT acceptable.
- Keep stats in mind when interacting with/attacking other PCs! Even if a stat check is not explicitly stated, they still should be considered when trying to wriggle away from a strong cat or outwit a smart cat.
-There is a definite plot to the Falls, with major events planned. If one or more of your cats is involved in the events, you will be PMed. Please keep them a secret so we can preserve the surprise for other players.
- Make your roleplay interesting! Don't say things like "Petalfire yawned" or "Sparkberry looked around". Try "Petalfire yawned and stretched. She hadn't slept well the other night and she wasn't sure she'd be of much use on the patrols today, but her stubborn nature kept her awake and in denial." or "Sparkberry narrowed his golden eyes, flicking an ear. He looked around for his brother, hoping that he hadn't snuck off to hunt by himself even though he'd just recovered from an illness." Describe the why of your actions, unless you don't want others to know, then go into detail describing the what!
-Respect other players, don't take on rude language or sarcasm. Be kind!
- Death is not a normal occurrence in the clans. Do not go off and kill your cat in a random battle. If you wish to kill off a cat, contact a Keeper to work out a time and place. Character deaths should be rare and a surprise when outside of a big battle. That said, we will open a topic where you can list the cats you would like to kill off right before the occurance of a major battle with NON-CLAN CATS or EVIL CATS or OTHER CREATURES. It is a part of the warrior code not to kill another clan cat, so in clan v. clan battles, it should be an accident or a secret that your cat was killed by another clan cat.
-Keep ooc talk out of the roleplay. You may post it at the very end or beginning of your post, but not in the midst of it.
Ex.
Hawkshadow flicked her tail irritably. She was angry, angrier than she'd ever felt. She wanted to claw Petalfire's eyes out, but the presence of others held her back. If she stepped out of line, there could be dire consequences, but red filled her vision. How dare she insult her leader that way?
