General Rules

Hello there! Welcome to the Falls!
You'll find that this roleplay is a mix of free style and tabletop. However, before we get to the playing style, we have rules that apply with no exceptions to every aspect of the Falls. If you do not follow them, there will be consequences, so please read carefully and thoroughly!
1. You may only create up to 20 cats.
Yes, I know, having unlimited access to cats is thrilling, but twenty is the limit here. This is because we don't want cats going unused in the rps. Every cat has an important part to play, and when you let them go stagnant because you're more interested in the new batch you've created, it hurts our style of rp and other players!
Dead cats do NOT count as one of your cats. However, do not go killing off cats willy-nilly, you must have a reason. If you don't want a cat anymore, consider putting it up for adoption, or fleshing it out and creating a new, interesting arc for your cat to play out! A good roleplayer knows how to bring back a cat that seemed hopeless.
In addition to this rule, you may only own ONE high ranked cat (leader, deputy, medicine cat/apprentice). If no one else is willing to take on the role and you already have one, you may ask privately if it's alright, but otherwise the rule applies.
2. All aspects of the warrior code apply!
There may be a point in the plot where it may be revised in-roleplay, but that is far off and considerably a rare opportunity. For now, consider the code in the books as the code here!
3. Swearing is allowed, but sparingly.
Do NOT have your roleplay or dialogue chock full of cursing. It distracts from the actual event and makes your posts hard to read through.
4. No dirty roleplay. Ever.
Not tolerated and not relevant here.
5. Let us know if you're absent!
Please announce whether you're going to be away, especially if you have specifically plot-relevant cats. It is suggested that you allow another user to roleplay such a cat. If you are gone for more than five weeks without telling us, you will be considered inactive and your cats will be distributed among people who'd like to roleplay them until you return, in which you will get them back, but you must continue right from when the "borrowers" left off in the cat's arc.
6. Absolutely no plagiarism or theft.
Theft of art, writing, or character sheets is absolutely not tolerated. If you are wrongly accused of stealing, talk to an admin. We are willing to clear things up.
7. Do not double post or spam without reason.
This one's self-explanatory. You may not post right after you've posted until you receive a reply. If the roleplay you've participated in has not received a reply in one week, you may post again. This does not apply for any other forum than the roleplays.
Penalties:
- if you break the rules, you will get a total of three warnings.
- after the three warnings are spent, you will receive a 48 hour ban.
- if you continue to break the rules, you will get a week long ban.
- if you continue to break the rules, you will get one warning.
- after the one warning, your account will be banned entirely.
- however, if a user is posting sexual content in roleplay or about others or about themselves, they will get an immediate two week ban.
If you see someone breaking the rules, don't hesitate to pm an admin! We are happy to look into it, but please don't get rude or aggressive with the user.
