Ashclan's Allegiances

Ashclan sits at the lowest points in the territories, where the water gathers and the black ash trees grow. These cats replicate the water that spiders throughout their territory-- calm, smooth, and clean. They hunt for fish and birds, short bristled pelts allowing water to dry quickly. These cats are colored like the stones of the rivers, muddy brown and dark gray, even black. Ashclan is a soothing presence at gatherings, when leaders are snapping at each other in a rage, Ashclan can be counted on to be the peacemakers. They can be somewhat prideful, but hide it well among smooth bodies and smooth minds. Kits are taught to swim at an early age, learning the techniques of the ancestors to perfection.
